We love the snow at Lilycroft Nursery School! We all wrapped up warm and played out - making the most of this exciting weather. The childen enjoyed sledging, collecting snow and ice, making tracks in the snow and making mini snowmen. It was lovely to see the children working together to achieve goals such as, pulling their teacher on the sledge and gathering snow to make a snowman. Lots of fantastic language was used too as the children asked questions and made comments about what they were seeing and doing.
"Let's make a gigantic snowman"
"Did a cat make those tracks?"
"There are bubbles under the ice - it's frozen"
"Help me, it's heavy - pull"
