Your Child's Nursery Day
Our Nursery Day runs from 7:45am to 4:30pm, with a mix of free and paid sessions. Every family is different, so please call us on 01274 545647 and we'll help you find a pattern that works for you.
Free Nursery Places
We offer 15 hours of free early education for all 3‑year‑olds (from the term after their 3rd birthday) and for eligible 2‑year‑olds. Free hours can be taken as mornings (8:45–11:45), afternoons (12:30–3:30), or a 2.5‑day pattern.
Extra Sessions (Paid Add‑Ons)
Families can buy extra paid sessions alongside their free hours, up to a maximum of [X hours/days per week — please confirm the exact limit with the office]. Prices: morning session £26.60, afternoon session £24.25, lunchtime session £6.70, breakfast session (7:45–8:45am) £7.80, after‑school session (3:30–4:30pm) £7.80.
Holiday Care
During school holidays, our all‑year‑round children attend St Edmund's Nursery School and Children's Centre, which is open 7:45am–5:45pm, 50 weeks a year, so that group sizes remain viable and children can enjoy a different environment. Paid Early Education & Care (Ages 2–5)
We offer flexible paid early education and care for children aged 2–5, term time only (38 weeks a year):
- Full day: 8:45am–4:30pm — £46.20
- Morning: 7:45am–12:45pm — £26.60
- Afternoon: 12:45pm–4:30pm — £24.25
Breakfast (7:45–8:45am) and lunch (packed lunch from home, 11:45am–12:45pm) are available as add-ons where not already included.
Fees and Funding
If your child receives 15 free hours, this will be deducted from your fees and shown on your monthly invoice. Fees are invoiced monthly in advance. Please call 01274 545647 to discuss availability or reserve a place.
